I’m so excited I’m practically in tears. When I first saw Anne Hathaway in the Princess Diaries, I knew that one day this girl would win an Oscar. Tonight is the night it happened and I couldn’t be happier for our Hollywood Princess.

The reason why I named this site “Hollywood Princess” is because I envisioned Anne as a modern day Hollywood Princess. This awards season has certain given the princess her crown because she has walked away with many award wins for her epic portrayal of the doomed Fantine in the film adaptation of beloved musical, Les Miserables.

Congratulations Anne! We love you and are so proud of you!

Anne Hathaway won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 70th Annual Golden Globes. It doesn’t always follow, however Golden Globe winners are often followed with an Oscar. Let’s hope that rings true for our girl, Anne! She really has become a Hollywood Princess.
